We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in building distributed systems in Java, utilizing Cassandra and Elastic Search.
The role involves prior experience in building data platforms focusing on ingestion, storage, and consumption for both batch and streaming data.
Familiarity with optimizing Elastic Search instances for search query and latency, as well as Kafka cluster management, is a significant advantage.
Key responsibilities include optimizing metadata consumption, enhancing storage and consistency, managing background tasks, and leading the design of metadata ingestion systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of proven experience in developing distributed systems, delivering high-performance, scalable software solutions.
Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework is essential, with experience in Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and JanusGraph being highly advantageous.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one specified area, with a deep understanding of underlying principles and best practices is required.
The ideal candidate should have proven design and implementation skills for complex distributed systems and experience in building scalable backend services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
