  • The Senior Software Engineer will lead projects involving platform engineering, infrastructure, integration, and API development.
  • The role includes acting as a technical leader, triaging on-call tickets, prioritizing team tasks, and guiding sprint planning.
  • Responsibilities also include identifying improvements for logging, monitoring, and telemetry, collaborating across the engineering organization, and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proven experience leading technical projects and helping teams navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A structured approach to triaging issues is required, with the ability to quickly assess, prioritize, and resolve problems during on-call rotations.
  • Strong debugging skills are necessary, including diagnosing and resolving complex issues across APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of production software engineering experience is required, including developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with Go (Golang) for backend development is essential.
  • Candidates must have experience managing cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, including ECS, EKS, RDS, and AWS.
  • Experience in migrating existing applications to new platform technologies is required.
  • Knowledge of designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and applications running on it is required.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics pipelines is preferred.
  • A firm understanding of computer networking is essential.
  • Candidates should have a collaborative mindset and experience leveraging AI-assisted tooling for infrastructure management.
