The Platform Engineering team enables software engineers to build, test, and deploy Lime products globally at scale through resilient, cost-effective, and secure infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a startup environment and will be a problem solver with a focus on both short-term and long-term planning.
Responsibilities include identifying and solving technical problems, architecting scalable platforms, maintaining security controls, supporting audits, advising leadership on technology adoption, and contributing to infrastructure changes through GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of industry professional software development experience with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
Proficiency in writing logical and maintainable code and providing clear feedback in code reviews is required.
An owner’s mindset is essential; candidates should be self-starters who can drive projects to completion.
Strong influencing skills are necessary to motivate and empower team members.
Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to project design and implementation is required.
Excellent communication and prioritization skills are essential for managing competing priorities.
Preferred experience includes working in a pre-IPO or public company environment and operating Ruby on Rails in a cloud environment for 2+ years.
