Remote Senior Software Engineer - Platform, Full Stack (Brazil)

Description:

• Join a lean and flexible engineering team split into Product and Platform areas.
• Work in two-week cycles with full ownership of your work from idea to market launch.
• Develop a product capable of handling real-time tasks with effective solutions.
• Use cutting-edge technology like React UI, GraphQL, REST, WebSockets, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Craft impactful products by building new features and enhancing existing ones.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to create user-friendly applications.
• Ensure core functionality stability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor fellow engineers, champion product-focused values, and establish engineering excellence standards.
• Assist in supporting and scaling highly available services for time-sensitive functionality.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and ReactJS.
• Strong skills in Javascript, ES6, TypeScript, and Git.
• Previous experience building GraphQL or REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, data warehousing, and designing robust data schemas.
• Solid software engineering practices and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Passion for crafting innovative solutions and creating user-friendly products.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile/Kanban methodologies.
• Self-directed, independent, and fearless in tackling challenges.
