The Software Engineer for Platform Tooling will report to the Enterprise Engineering Manager and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining infrastructure standards.
This role involves tool development for both external and internal purposes, enabling effective software deployment to enterprise customers.
The position requires establishing partnerships with enterprise customers to enhance customer satisfaction and develop comprehensive solutions.
The Platform Tooling team manages variances in infrastructure types and implements suitable solutions for each enterprise customer's unique needs.
The engineer will leverage their skills and knowledge to navigate complex infrastructure landscapes and provide high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience in an enterprise software environment.
Proficiency in GoLang programming is required.
A deep understanding of distributed systems is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes is mandatory.
Knowledge of monitoring and scaling services for distributed systems, including tools like Datadog, New Relic, Open Telemetry, and Prometheus, is essential.
Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google) is required.
Active collaboration with team members to align and achieve departmental goals is expected.
