Description:
- Architect and develop scalable, reliable Point of Sale (POS) integrations to facilitate seamless connection between restaurants and the platform
- Streamline the creation of new native integrations to reduce time-to-market for new systems
- Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to ensure smooth operations between the platform and POS systems
- Implement fail-safe mechanisms to minimize order failure rates and optimize order fulfillment workflows
- Refactor and modernize outdated integrations to improve performance, compatibility, and reliability
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to simplify and enhance the integration setup process
Requirements:
- Approximately 5+ years of backend experience, with a strong proficiency in Node.js, Mongo, and AWS
- Previous experience with third-party API integrations, with bonus points for familiarity with POS systems
- Comfortable working with external APIs and solving integration challenges
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
- Experience in a product-focused startup/scale-up or technology company
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a growth mindset
