Description:

Atlan is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Marketplace team in India, working remotely.
The role involves designing and implementing high-level architectures for enterprise connectors.
The engineer will develop source-specific packages to crawl, mine, and migrate metadata from diverse data sources.
Responsibilities include guiding and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
The position requires owning cross-functional execution while collaborating with multiple teams including Product and Design, Field, Sales, and Leadership.
The engineer will partner closely with field teams to assist customers and partners during onboarding as a technical subject matter expert (SME).
The role includes deploying and managing packages on the Atlan Metadata Marketplace, ensuring reliability and a seamless user experience.
The engineer will drive innovation in connector development and improve developer productivity for Atlan users.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
Expertise in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems at scale is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Kotlin, as well as tools like Argo, is necessary.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential.
A track record of mentoring and developing junior engineers is expected.
Experience leading customer and partner interactions as a technical SME, providing reliable support for the packages owned is required.
Familiarity with SaaS products and metadata management is preferred.
