Remote Senior Software Engineer - Product, Full Stack

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a lean engineering team at Qualified, split into Product and Platform areas, working on a state-of-the-art web app with a React UI interfacing through GraphQL, REST, and WebSockets with a Ruby on Rails backend.
• The engineer will have full ownership of their work, from idea to market launch, focusing on developing a product capable of handling tasks in real-time with effective solutions.
• Responsibilities include crafting customer-centric applications, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers, ensuring core product functionality, and mentoring fellow engineers.
• The role involves building new features, enhancing existing ones, and developing new products tailored to user needs, while upholding high standards of engineering and code quality.
• The engineer will contribute to the team's culture, support scaling of services, and work within Scrum/Agile/Kanban methodologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack software engineer, with 3+ years in Ruby on Rails and ReactJS, strong skills in Javascript, ES6, TypeScript, and Git.
• Experience building GraphQL or REST APIs, working with SQL, RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), and data warehousing solutions.
• Solid software engineering practices, a degree in Computer Science, and proficiency in English.
• Passion for crafting innovative solutions, creating user-friendly products, and working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Ability to own complete features and products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to engineering excellence standards.
