• We are looking for a talented Senior Prototype Engineer to join our innovation team and help shape the future of IOG products and technology.
• As a Senior Prototype Engineer, you will be responsible for developing prototypes, models, and simulators at the intersection of engineering and research.
• You will work closely with various stakeholders, including architects, cryptographers, researchers, and engineers, to help shape innovation projects.
• Your duties will include designing and developing systems from initial ideas, presenting options and solutions at team and project meetings, and maintaining ongoing communication regarding your project status on a periodic basis.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in various programming languages and functional paradigms is required.
• Knowledge of the Rust programming language is essential.
• A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency, is necessary.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its core concepts, such as consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and smart contracts, is required.
• The candidate must be self-motivated and a self-learner.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development is required.
• A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, is necessary.
• Experience with blockchain technology is essential.
• Experience in remote work and collaboration across different time zones is required.
