• Remo is a virtual dementia care provider focused on creating personalized, comprehensive care for patients and their families.
• As a Senior Software Engineer II, Provider Experience, you will lead a team to enhance the experience for caregivers and patients using the platform.
• Your responsibilities will include designing and building features that assist families in navigating dementia care complexities.
• You will write code, make critical technology choices, review peers’ code, and provide technical mentorship.
• You will own deliverables, identify roadblocks, mitigate risks, and suggest course corrections.
• Your role involves building scalable systems and maintaining reliable solutions to support a growing user base.
• You will shape the technical vision for caregiver and patient-facing products and translate needs into innovative features.
• You will design user-friendly interfaces and tools that cater to caregivers' and patients' unique needs.
• You will create features that foster community and connection among caregivers and patients.
• You will integrate educational content and personalized care plans into a seamless user experience.
• You will implement robust security measures and adhere to data privacy regulations to protect sensitive information.
• You will solve complex healthcare problems and deliver high-quality features using technologies like React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• You will design and implement automated tests to maintain high-quality standards.
• You will collaborate with the engineering leadership team to define architectural principles and standards.

Requirements:

• You must have 6+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in building web applications in healthcare.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL is required.
• You should have experience building full-stack user-facing features for web applications, focusing on performance optimization and security.
• Proficiency in HL7 FHIR and integrating with EHR/EMR systems is necessary.
• You should have experience leading technical design discussions and providing guidance on best practices and architecture principles.
• Experience designing and implementing both REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as PostgreSQL databases, is required.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and health data privacy standards (HIPAA or HITRUST) is a plus.
