Description:

OpenX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join their team in Krakow, Poland, focusing on agile application development.
The role involves designing high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems and delivering new features and functionality.
You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams across multiple locations, driving project requirements and owning projects end-to-end.
The team utilizes technologies such as JS/TS, React, Python, Node.js, Java, Go, Erlang, Elixir, Cloudbuild, and Spinnaker.
Daily operations follow the Scrum framework, with an emphasis on adapting processes to team needs.
All interview stages are conducted remotely.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a similar position, specifically with Python, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
Experience with database system design, including RDBMs (MySQL, Postgres) or NoSQL, is required.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are necessary, along with communicative Polish.
Experience in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology is a significant advantage.
Desired qualifications include familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (or any other cloud platform), Kubernetes, Docker, REST API, and GraphQL.

The position offers an employment contract with a salary range of 21,250 - 25,000 PLN gross/monthly or a B2B option at 167 - 196 PLN net/hourly.
Employees will receive an annual performance bonus and a tax-deductible system due to copyright protection (75%).
