• The Senior Software Engineer position at 3PILLAR GLOBAL is a full-time remote role based in Mexico.

• The role involves gathering requirements and organizing/presenting developed features for clients.
• The engineer will execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
• Promoting client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions is essential.
• Engagement in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives, is expected.
• The engineer will actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independent project delivery within defined architecture is required, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Python 2 and 3, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript (preferred), jQuery, and PostgreSQL is required.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
• The role requires practice and initiative in mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.
• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
• Additional desired experience includes unit testing, working in the cloud, and using containers with Rancher and Docker.
