Remote Senior Software Engineer - Python (REMOTE)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of Koios, a multi-tenant SaaS application for SparkMeter's IOT platform.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs using Python frameworks, optimizing backend architecture for performance and user experience, collaborating with the product team to define technical roadmaps, and providing technical direction to junior team members.
• The role also involves working closely with customers to demo new features, attending agile software development team meetings, and identifying key features and optimizations for quick wins in the first few months.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on building and shipping high-quality software.
• Experience in building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS applications, expertise in RESTful APIs and JSON, skilled in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services like S3 and Lambda, experience working with customers during software development, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and customers, and willingness to work Eastern Time Zone hours to overlap with colleagues in Africa and Europe.
