Remote Senior Software Engineer - Quality Lead

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer that specializes in quality to join our team.

• The candidate will be responsible for helping define and implement testing for software products and projects, ensuring that they meet the highest software quality standards in the industry.
• The role will involve following quality assurance strategy, designing and implementing test plans and test automation.
• This position is based in Portugal and allows for remote working.
• The contract type is permanent.
• Working hours may be affected as this role will be servicing global clients.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as an engineer is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a test/QA engineer is required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Strong experience with test automation tools and techniques, including building Web, Mobile, and API test automation from scratch, is required.
• A passion for software testing and a drive to continuously improve quality assurance processes is necessary.
• Experience in tools such as SDLC - GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar is required.
• Experience with automation tools like TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, and RestAssured is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, is required.
