Remote Senior Software Engineer, Release Infrastructure

Description:

• The Developer Experience organization aims to enhance developer workflows through efficient and reliable tools and processes.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Release Infrastructure team, focusing on continuous integration, continuous deployment, source control, code review, code search, and internal developer tools.
• Responsibilities include improving developer efficiency, building tools for code writing and testing, architecting continuous delivery experiences, scaling infrastructure, understanding customer needs, and integrating novel technologies.
• The role involves steering high leverage projects, executing strategies for scalable architecture, mentoring other contributors, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and evolving technical and non-technical skills.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in driving high impact projects aligned with company strategy.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in large-scale distributed systems and developing reliable serving systems is required.
• Experience in developer experience or productivity, including developer tools, libraries, and frameworks, is essential.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Drone, BuildKite, and GitHub Actions is necessary.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud providers like AWS and GCP is required.
• A proven track record of leading large-scale projects with cross-team collaboration is essential.
• Candidates should possess high empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions across the engineering organization.
• A strong focus on user experience, usability, scalability, and quality is required.
• A history of mentorship and technical leadership is necessary.
