The Senior Software Engineer will work remotely and report to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities include designing and developing major functional or performance enhancements for existing products, becoming a subject matter expert for Loan Origination Systems, and assisting with troubleshooting complex problems.
The role involves steering architecture to scale technology and processes, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders to balance delivery speed and quality.
The engineer will participate in Agile development, driving full cycle end-to-end development from design through implementation, and optimizing customer experience.

Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in developing Microservices using Apache Spring Boot is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of Java development experience in building large-scale web applications and APIs using object-oriented principles.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with the Spring Framework and ORM (Hibernate, JPA) is necessary.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with Oracle SQL and MS SQL.
At least 3 years of experience in Python development for building and maintaining scalable applications is required.
Hands-on experience working within the AWS ecosystem, including proficiency in creating and debugging serverless functions, is essential.
Familiarity with system design and the ability to design scalable infrastructure components is required.
Exposure to leading JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React is preferred.
Good knowledge of DevOps and collaboration tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, GIT, and Sonarqube is necessary.
Experience in deconstructing complex problems into modular solutions and a strong understanding of software testing approaches are required.
Full-Stack development experience and experience in the Financial Services Industry are preferred.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies like AWS S3, RDS, ELB, and experience with Docker for developing containerized applications are required.
