First Help Financial (FHF) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their innovative team.
The role involves working on game-changing projects and leading technology and security initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot Framework, CICD, REST API, SQL, and a background in Computer Science.
Responsibilities include developing software products, becoming a subject matter expert, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, 5+ years of experience in Microservices, Java development, Spring Framework, Oracle SQL, and Python development.
Preferred qualifications include Full-Stack development experience, Financial Services Industry experience, and familiarity with Cloud Technologies like AWS.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, Master’s is a plus.
5+ years’ experience in Microservices using Apache Spring Boot.
5+ years’ experience in Java development for large-scale web applications and APIs.
5+ years’ experience with Spring Framework, ORM (Hibernate, JPA), Oracle SQL, and MS SQL.
3+ years’ experience in Python development.
Hands-on experience in the AWS ecosystem.
Familiarity with System Design and leading JavaScript frameworks.
Good knowledge of DevOps & collaboration tools.
Strong understanding of software test approach and dedication toward goals.
