Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a remote position in the United States.
This role focuses on backend engineering, contributing to scalable customer-facing experiences and infrastructure for content discovery and creator engagement.
The engineer will work with modern cloud technologies and distributed systems to create meaningful interactions between consumers and influencers.
Responsibilities include architecting and developing scalable systems and APIs, building and integrating backend services with cloud infrastructure, and maintaining services using languages like Golang, Python, or Java.
The role involves improving system reliability, performance, and code quality through testing and peer reviews.
Collaboration across teams and time zones is essential to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
The engineer will take ownership of feature development from ideation to deployment and provide mentorship to fellow engineers while driving engineering best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of backend software engineering experience.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
Strong experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Golang is preferred, along with proficiency in Python or Java.
Candidates should be skilled in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in building scalable APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP) and integrating third-party services (OAuth, etc.) is required.
Familiarity with non-relational databases like DynamoDB or Cassandra is essential.
Excellent communication and leadership skills for technical collaboration are necessary.
It is a plus to have experience with AWS analytics tools (EMR, Redshift, Glue), eCommerce platforms (Shopify), and domain-driven design.
