The role is for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the MedTech industry.
The project involves simplifying complex medical data into understandable reports to empower individuals in making informed health decisions.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining backend systems, improving scalability and user experience, and ensuring secure medical data management.
The position requires good communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in building software solutions in an international environment.
Key tasks include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Ruby on Rails, managing databases with MongoDB, developing APIs, optimizing applications, refactoring existing features, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails is required.
Experience in cloud environments, ideally AWS, is necessary.
Proficiency in MongoDB and understanding of database design principles is essential.
Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Experience with unit testing frameworks and tools such as RSpec, Capybara, SitePrism, and Fabricator is needed.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and platforms like GitHub is important.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Experience in SaaS platforms focusing on scalability and preventive care programs is a nice-to-have.
