Description:

• Weedmaps is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team remotely.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of development experience at startup or mid-sized companies is necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Ruby is required.
• Expertise in building responsive user-interfaces is essential.
• Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback are necessary.
• A high level of attention to detail and aesthetic sensibilities is required.
• Candidates should have expert knowledge of modern browser technologies, cross-browser compatibility issues, and client-side performance considerations.
• A commitment to raising the bar for engineering excellence across the organization is expected.
• A deep understanding of the GitFlow branching strategy is required.
• Familiarity with server-side frameworks such as Next.js or Ruby on Rails is preferred.
• A background in computer science or other engineering fields is necessary.
