OP Labs is seeking an experienced software engineer with expertise in Rust.
The role involves developing infrastructure for secure and permissionless withdrawal of funds from OP Stack chains and the Superchain.
Contributions will be made to the Rust Ethereum ecosystem, enabling OP Stack chains to utilize Reth.
The position includes building a rust-based fault proof program to complement the existing Go-based implementation.
Maintenance of important Go-based infrastructure is also part of the role, with a focus on prioritizing the Optimism mission.
Requirements:
A deep understanding of the Rust language and ecosystem is required.
Candidates must have blockchain development experience.
Experience in systems programming, particularly in developing low-level software such as virtual machines, interpreters, or compilers, is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to document technical details clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
A strong understanding of cryptographic principles is required.
Experience with Zero Knowledge Proofs is considered a nice-to-have.
