Remote Senior Software Engineer (Rust) - Partner Chains

Description:

• IO Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Rust) to join the Partner Chains team, responsible for a Cardano sidechain product.
• The role involves developing a Rust-based blockchain application for interoperability.
• The code base is open source, emphasizing transparency, security, and peer review.
• Responsibilities include following agile practices, working independently, contributing to algorithm design, writing clean code, and integrating software components.
• The position requires troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading existing software, and writing technical documentation.
• Knowledge of distributed and concurrent computation and cryptography basics is beneficial.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Rust development experience, specifically in the Substrate framework.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methods, functional and object-oriented programming, low-level network communications protocol, and distributed systems.
