Remote Senior Software Engineer - Sandbox

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, running, and maintaining Recorded Future’s advanced malware analysis sandbox.
• The role involves extending data processing capabilities to provide comprehensive reports on malware through both static and dynamic analysis.
• The engineer will build tools and infrastructure to manage diverse workloads, including handling over 10PB of data, running millions of VMs daily, and processing terabytes of data every hour.
• The position includes building web services to facilitate user interaction with the Sandbox.
• The engineer will also create tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors for malware analysis, including Windows, Unix, Android, and QEMU.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be comfortable working asynchronously.
• Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language is required, with a preference for Go.
• A proven track record of building high-quality software through past experience, projects, or contributions is essential.
• The ability to automate repetitive tasks is necessary.
• Optional experience with Linux, Postgres, QEMU, and implementing RFCs and protocols is preferred.
