Description:

Granicus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Java or Ruby and a strong understanding of AWS.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading feature development, mentoring junior developers, and designing robust features or infrastructure.
A solid grasp of OOPs concepts and functional strength is essential, with additional knowledge of GoLang, Python, or NodeJS being a plus.
Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions, mentoring junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and cloud architecture.
The position is remote and part of a globally distributed workforce.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Java or Ruby programming languages is required.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture is essential.
Experience as a lead developer, managing teams and feature development is necessary.
A clear understanding of OOPs concepts and their practical application is required.
Functional strength in problem-solving and software design is expected.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
