The Senior Software Engineer will leverage generative AI technologies to build delightful consumer products and integrate cutting-edge AI and search technologies into the platform.
The role involves acting as an owner, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving projects from concept to completion.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to build scalable, performant, and user-friendly solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year focused on AI and search infrastructure.
A demonstrated ability to lead projects involving generative AI technologies and integrate them into consumer-facing products is required.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is essential.
Experience with modern search platforms like Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch, or Solr is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with Azure preferred) for deploying and managing AI models is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to distill complex concepts and lead teams through ambiguity.
Candidates should value empathy and collaboration, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
A self-motivated individual with a bias for action and the ability to drive projects independently is preferred.
Some level of engagement in the wine category is desired.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
