Description:
Webflow is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Structure group, focusing on enabling customers to design and build powerful websites visually.
The role is remote-first, available to candidates in the United States and parts of Canada (BC & ON).
This is a full-time, permanent position that is exempt in the U.S.
The Senior Fullstack Engineer will collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to plan and build product capabilities.
Responsibilities include building, documenting, and testing production code that impacts all Webflow customers.
The engineer will participate in all engineering activities, including technical design, implementation, testing, validation, and incident response.
The position involves solving complex technical challenges on a collaborative and geographically distributed team.
The cash compensation for this role varies based on geographic location, experience, and skills, with specific pay zones outlined for the U.S. and Canada.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products, particularly with web frameworks and products.
An innate interest in the Web Platform, visual development, and building software frameworks is essential.
The ideal candidate should enjoy tackling large technical problems and working collaboratively in a distributed team.
Comfort in building a mental model of a product and architecture through code reading and debugging is required.
Candidates must be able to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
A strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects to business impact is necessary.
Deep understanding of data design and modeling is required.
Familiarity with Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and server-rendering complex React applications at scale is essential.
Candidates should have a history of effectively communicating trade-offs throughout projects to meet technical and business requirements.
Comfort working in an agile, safe-to-fail environment is expected.
