Description:

• Webflow is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Structure group, focusing on enabling customers to design and build powerful websites visually.
• The role is remote-first, available to candidates in the United States and parts of Canada (BC & ON).
• This is a full-time, permanent position that is exempt in the U.S.
• The Senior Fullstack Engineer will collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to plan and build product capabilities.
• Responsibilities include building, documenting, and testing production code that impacts all Webflow customers.
• The engineer will participate in all engineering activities, including technical design, implementation, testing, validation, and incident response.
• The position involves solving complex technical challenges on a collaborative and geographically distributed team.
• The cash compensation for this role varies based on geographic location, experience, and skills, with specific pay zones outlined for the U.S. and Canada.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products, particularly with web frameworks and products.
• An innate interest in the Web Platform, visual development, and building software frameworks is essential.
• The ideal candidate should enjoy tackling large technical problems and working collaboratively in a distributed team.
• Comfort in building a mental model of a product and architecture through code reading and debugging is required.
• Candidates must be able to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects to business impact is necessary.
• Deep understanding of data design and modeling is required.
• Familiarity with Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and server-rendering complex React applications at scale is essential.
• Candidates should have a history of effectively communicating trade-offs throughout projects to meet technical and business requirements.
• Comfort working in an agile, safe-to-fail environment is expected.
