Remote Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead (SEO Team)

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead on the SEO team at Tripadvisor, you will be involved in full stack engineering, including web framework development, iterative testing, analytics, monitoring, and data science on comprehensive datasets.
• You will work with a data/test driven approach to understand interactions with search engines, users, and the complex relationships between them.
• Managing a squad of engineers, you will collaborate with SEO analysts to prioritize work and contribute to high-profile projects.
• You will play a key role in shaping processes, people, and the roadmap for the SEO team, working on various aspects of the site from React FE to microservices, AWS APIs, databases, and offline jobs and tools.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a manager or team lead with direct reports.
• Prior successful execution of large-scale initiatives and collaboration with business leaders.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
• Exposure to technologies like Java, React, GraphQL, SQL, Postgres, Linux, Python, Gradle, BERT, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS.
