Description:

  • The Senior Software Engineer (The Code Maestro) position at our client involves leading engineering efforts, designing scalable systems, and mentoring junior developers to create impactful software.
  • Responsibilities include software architecture and design, project leadership, mentorship and team development, problem-solving and debugging, collaboration with cross-functional teams, code quality and best practices, and continuous learning and innovation.
  • The role requires making critical decisions on technology stacks, system design, and infrastructure, setting technical standards, diagnosing bugs and performance bottlenecks, and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript, with a deep understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Software Architecture: Experience in designing scalable, high-performance systems and leading the development of complex applications.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers, leading code reviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent debugging skills, root cause identification, and creative solutions to tough technical problems.
  • Database and API Knowledge: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), and optimizing databases for performance and scalability.
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with certifications or coursework in advanced programming, system architecture, or cloud computing as a plus.
  • Experience Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience, full-stack development understanding, experience with modern frameworks like React, Node.js, Django, or .NET, and familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization.
