Description:

The Senior Software Engineer for tvOS will work closely with the engineering manager, tech lead, and cross-functional partners to identify business needs and create technical design documents to specifications.
The role involves developing algorithms and creating mind maps/flow charts for the development of new features.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality and optimized code according to product requirements and design specifications.
The engineer will identify tech debt, troubleshoot, and enhance the existing codebase.
Analyzing user feedback to optimize software performance is also a key part of the role.
The position requires creating technical documentation to support and streamline future software development endeavors.
This role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager for tvOS and is open to fully remote work within the United States.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a desire to build a premium anime viewing experience on tvOS.
A minimum of 5-8 years of development experience in Apple platforms is required, with experience in building consumer applications using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
The ideal candidate should habitually challenge themselves and their team to deliver the best experience for customers.
Leadership qualities and the ability to work with cross-functional partners are essential.
