• As a Senior Software Engineer at Midnight, you will design, develop, and maintain the core systems that power the blockchain platform.
• You will collaborate with the development team to build high-performance systems for large-scale transaction processing and ensure platform security and integrity.
• Responsibilities include writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, implementing and optimizing algorithms, troubleshooting existing systems, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with JavaScript/Typescript and blockchain technology.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Systems Programmer, Software Engineer, or similar role with a focus on JavaScript and/or Typescript development is necessary.
• A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, is essential.
• Experience in developing and maintaining high-performance systems in JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment are necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Typescript programming language and its ecosystem, including libraries and tools, is essential.
• Experience in developing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency systems for large-scale transaction processing is required.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and software development best practices, such as Agile methodologies, is necessary.
