Remote Senior Software Engineer, Vendor Risk Management

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers to deliver high-value products and scalable infrastructure for Vanta.
• Vanta's mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security, empowering companies to practice better security effortlessly.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for setting technical direction, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team to enable Vanta's growth.
• The Vendor Risk Management team at Vanta builds AI-powered security tools to help software buyers evaluate the security of their vendors in real-time.
• Responsibilities include leading complex projects, supporting design reviews, developing and launching greenfield products, and driving initiatives to increase operational posture and execution quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
• Strong product mindset with experience in product engineering and/or greenfield projects.
• Previous experience working on or shipping enterprise products.
• Technical leadership experience for teams or complex projects.
• Previous startup experience or working in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and an interest in learning about security.
• Ability to work with talented engineers to make a significant impact on customers.
• Contribution to building Vanta's engineering culture as the company grows.
