Remote Senior Software Engineer - Visual Editor

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will join the Experience group to create tools for analytics engineers, including a tailor-made clients IDE, CLI, and a Low Code No Code (LCNC) platform integrated with the dbt ecosystem.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining dbt Cloud clients, managing trade-offs and priorities, defining quality standards, and participating in daily standups and pair programming.
• The role involves working with Python or Go to create scalable full-stack applications, collaborating with product and design teams, understanding end-users' needs, and making tradeoffs to ship useful features.
• Candidates with experience in backend development, frontend experience, and knowledge of end-to-end systems are preferred.
• Additional advantages include working on similar applications, scaling applications in Kubernetes and AWS, and experience in a distributed company.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) OR completed enrollment in an engineering-related bootcamp.
• Proficiency in using Python or Go to build scalable full-stack applications.
• Ability to work closely with product and design teams, understand end-users' needs, and make tradeoffs for feature delivery.
• Experience in backend development, frontend knowledge, and understanding of end-to-end systems.
