Description:
Veracross is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Vue.js and front-end development.
The role involves working on a green field product for nurses, school administrators, students, and parents.
Responsibilities include creating and optimizing interactive, responsive web applications.
The engineer will collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality code, optimize performance, and implement front-end best practices.
The position requires ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms.
The engineer will report to the Software Architect and will have the opportunity to impact technical decisions and software architecture.
Job responsibilities include designing and developing scalable web applications using Vue.js within a PHP Laravel environment, ensuring application security, and translating product requirements into user-friendly applications.
The engineer will plan and estimate development efforts, troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform code reviews, and stay current with front-end technologies and trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in Vue.js (5+ years) and a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex or Pinia is required.
Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for building responsive, component-based layouts is necessary.
A strong understanding of component-based architecture, SPA development, and responsive design principles is essential.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of security and accessibility best practices, including OWASP Top 10 and WCAG compliance.
Experience with automation and testing frameworks like Cypress JS is required.
Candidates must have experience with RESTful APIs integration and managing front-end build processes.
Proficiency with Git for source code management is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to development are required.
Exposure to PHP and the Laravel Framework is advantageous.
