Description:

Tech9 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Vue.js, Cordova, and TypeScript for a remote position based in India.
The primary focus will be on frontend development, including the design, development, and maintenance of a user-facing contractor referral tool.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement features and user interfaces, writing clean and efficient code, and building reusable components.
The role also involves mobile application development, ensuring a seamless experience on both iOS and Android platforms using Vue.js with Cordova.
The engineer will architect and implement robust Vue components, handle complex user interactions, and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
Additional tasks include integrating frontend with backend APIs, writing unit and integration tests, and optimizing user experience.
The engineer will communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and stay updated with the latest frontend technologies.
The position requires monitoring application performance, addressing technical debt, and ensuring security best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 6 years of hands-on frontend development experience, with strong proficiency in TypeScript.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Vue.js is required, demonstrating the ability to build, scale, and optimize complex applications.
Proven experience in developing and optimizing mobile applications using Cordova is essential.
Familiarity with component-based architectures and state management tools like Redux or Vuex is necessary.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services is required.
Excellent communication skills are needed to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects is essential.
Candidates must be able to join Tech9 within 30 days of receiving an employment offer.
The position requires at least 3 hours of overlap with the US timezone for scrum/standup calls.
