Remote Senior Software Engineer, Web

Description:

• TuneIn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Web to join their team in Poland or Lviv, Ukraine.
• The role involves contributing to the complete rewrite of the web application using modern technologies like React.js, Redux, and Node.js.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define and develop new features, writing clean and tested code, and optimizing code for performance.
• The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on web technologies, experience in owning architecture decisions for consumer websites, and proficiency in building APIs.
• Required skills include expertise in JavaScript, React, modern web technologies, and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end architecture documentation.
• Desired behaviors include a passion for code quality, continuous learning and improvement, and a collaborative mindset towards achieving common goals.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on client-side web technologies
• Experience owning architecture and design decisions for large-scale consumer websites
• Full stack experience, including building APIs
• Extensive collaboration experience with Product and Design teams
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern web technologies
• Ability to take ownership of end-to-end architecture documentation
• Experience in Node.js is a plus
