Remote Senior Software Engineer, Web Platform

Description:

• SmartAsset is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Web Platform to work in a collaborative team environment following Agile methodology.
• The role involves building and maintaining full-stack enterprise technology solutions that scale and represent the brand to users.
• Responsibilities include partnering with the Product team to streamline content creation, integrating with third-party tools and internal Data teams, and designing an enterprise Content Management architecture.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in building full-stack web applications, leading teams, mentoring, and identifying risks.
• Strong experience in Java web applications, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, Git, AWS, and agile environments is required.
• Preferred skills include experience with headless WordPress, NextJS, GraphQL, A/B testing tools, Terraform, and ad serving platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience building full stack web applications.
• Experience leading teams, designing solutions, and making technical decisions.
• Mentoring team members and identifying risks with mitigation strategies.
• Strong experience in Java web applications, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, Git, and AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with agile environments.
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and continuous improvement.
