Webflow is a Website Experience Platform (WXP) that empowers modern marketing teams to visually build, manage, and optimize stunning websites.
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Webflow Labs, a team focused on redefining web development with a strong emphasis on AI-driven innovations.
This is a full-time, permanent, remote position available to candidates in the United States and parts of Canada.
The role involves creating new prototypes, extending capabilities of the core Webflow product, and bringing products to market in a fast-moving team.
The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the team to identify high-impact opportunities and drive technical initiatives from execution to delivery.
The position reports to the Co-founder/Chief Architect and offers a cash compensation structured by geographic market zones.

Requirements:

Candidates must have deep expertise in web development technologies such as React and Astro.
A strong understanding of web servers and cloud infrastructure is required.
Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in tech leading teams, including scoping and breaking down work, is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable taking on product management responsibilities to steer the strategic direction of a product.
Experience across the full software engineering stack, including Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure, is essential.
Familiarity with cloud services such as edge compute, CDNs, and distributed data stores is required.
Experience working with internet-scale architectures and workloads is also necessary.
