Remote Senior Software Engineer, Windows Desktop

Description:

• Dandy is transforming the dental industry by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
• The company is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join the Ordering team, which builds and maintains the Desktop app for scanning patients and ordering dental products.
• The Desktop app is responsible for approximately 90% of all dental orders at Dandy and has been developed in the last few years.
• The role involves maintaining scanning subsystems, building new integrations for additional scanner types, and investigating root causes for issues in the native Windows app.
• Responsibilities also include profiling app performance, utilizing Windows app registry and logging utilities to triage issues, and improving Windows development and build processes.
• The position offers opportunities to work with various forms of dental scanning technology and contribute to building a best-in-class experience for dental scanning software.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth environment.
• Experience in Windows software development is required.
• Proficiency in Electron, React, Node, and GraphQL is necessary.
• Bonus points for candidates with Windows support experience or CI/CD (build pipeline management) experience.
