Description:

CellarTracker is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance app experiences for users tracking their wine journey.
The role involves leading the development of app-based features in collaboration with product and design teams.
The engineer will need to understand UX design principles and assess the technical feasibility of designs.
Responsibilities include investigating and solving bugs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating clarity from ambiguous requirements.
The position requires taking ownership of project delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Participation in code reviews and contributing to best practices for maintaining high-quality codebases is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Experience with React Native and the Expo ecosystem, including EAS build, Yarn, Babel, and Metro, is necessary.
Familiarity with Redux, Redux Persist, React Hooks, and offline-first/syncing frameworks like WatermelonDB or Realm is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for distilling complex concepts and leading teams.
A team player who values empathy and collaboration is preferred, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Candidates should be self-motivated with a bias for action and the ability to drive projects independently.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
