Remote Senior Software Engineer - Wine Journey

Description:

• CellarTracker is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance app experiences for users tracking their wine journey.
• The role involves leading the development of app-based features in collaboration with product and design teams.
• The engineer will need to understand UX design principles and assess the technical feasibility of designs.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
• Experience with React Native and the Expo ecosystem, including EAS build, Yarn, Babel, and Metro, is necessary.
• Familiarity with Redux, Redux Persist, React Hooks, and offline-first/syncing frameworks like WatermelonDB or Realm is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for distilling complex concepts and leading teams.
• A team player who values empathy and collaboration is preferred, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Candidates should be self-motivated with a bias for action and the ability to drive projects independently.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
