Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer with C# and Azure to join the IT team on a permanent basis.
The role involves working with a customer dealing with settlement and power balancing across the UK, connecting power producers with consumers to ensure adequate power availability.
The position is remote, allowing employees to work from anywhere in Poland.
The ideal candidate will have a true DevOps mindset and be competent in picking up development and bugfix tickets during SCRUM sprints or Kanban workflows.
The candidate should be able to implement solutions to a high standard using best practices and automated unit tests.
Experience with various Azure services is required, including Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and more.
The candidate should also have experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC and jQuery.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, and Azure is required.
Candidates must hold AZ-104 and AZ-204 certificates or have equivalent experience.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and be capable of scripting IaaC and troubleshooting Azure services independently.
Experience with Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL DB is essential.
Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes is a nice-to-have.
Experience working in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps Boards and Repos is preferred.
Candidates should have experience in building automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML.
