Aurora Solar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer with Full Stack expertise to join their remote-first team.
The company focuses on creating accessible solar solutions through innovative software that simplifies solar project design and installation.
The CAD team, which the new hire will join, specializes in GIS data, CAD 3D modeling, and cloud-compute engines, significantly contributing to Aurora's revenue and customer experience.
The role involves enhancing the integration of CAD technologies with the Aurora Cloud Platform, working across various technical layers including Frontend, Backend, and AWS.
Responsibilities include deploying best practices in software development, enhancing Ruby-on-Rails applications, creating new services on AWS, maintaining Web APIs, optimizing data processing interfaces, mentoring teammates, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Candidates must have working experience as a Full Stack developer.
Expertise in the latest C++ is required.
Experience with Javascript and/or Typescript is necessary.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, CI/CD, and automated testing is essential.
Candidates should be self-motivated, possess good communication skills, and prioritize team results.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, and resumes should be submitted in English.
