Remote Senior, Software Quality Engineer in Test

Description:

• The Senior Software Quality Engineer in Test will be responsible for developing test solutions to ensure web-based products are defect-free and ready for clients.
• The role involves hands-on testing of website functionality, executing various tests (integration, functional, system, regression, performance), and focusing on bug prevention.
• Responsibilities include assisting junior team members, testing cloud-based technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), resolving technical issues, and collaborating with different teams.
• The position requires developing manual and automated test cases for mobile, web, tablet, and API testing, documenting test cases, and defining test cases for complex scenarios.
• The candidate will query systems to identify the root cause of failures, test systems with various configurations, and maintain documentation on software test methodology.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality engineering.
• Proficiency in Agile techniques (Kanban and SCRUM), automation scripting (Cypress is a plus), and coding in Javascript.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP calls, software testing concepts, automation tools supporting CI & CD pipelines, and web-based testing best practices.
• Experience with SQL, writing complex queries, and working with diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of web testing, automation tools like Cypress and Axios, and documentation of quality assurance practices.
