Description:
The Senior Software Quality Engineer in Test will be responsible for developing test solutions to ensure web-based products are defect-free and ready for clients.
The role involves hands-on testing of website functionality, executing various tests (integration, functional, system, regression, performance), and focusing on bug prevention.
Responsibilities include assisting junior team members, testing cloud-based technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), resolving technical issues, and collaborating with different teams.
The position requires developing manual and automated test cases for mobile, web, tablet, and API testing, documenting test cases, and querying systems to identify failures.
The candidate will define positive, negative, and boundary test cases for complex scenarios and work with various technologies like Windows, Linux, SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and middleware.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality engineering.
Proficiency in Agile techniques (Kanban, SCRUM), automation scripting (Cypress is a plus), and coding in Javascript.
Familiarity with REST and SOAP calls, testing tools (SOAPUI, Postman, Swagger), and software testing concepts.
Experience with CI & CD pipelines, web-based testing best practices, and maintaining documentation on testing methodologies.
Strong skills in web testing, automation tools (Cypress, Axios), SQL, and writing complex queries.
Ability to work with diverse teams and backgrounds.
