Description:

rockITdata is seeking a Senior Software/System Architect to work remotely and positively impact millions of people.
The role involves evaluating existing design and architecture details, validating information, and updating design and architecture in collaboration with system owners, product managers, and technical support teams.
Responsibilities include transforming customer feedback into visualizations, incorporating new plans into the Monitoring Service Registry (MSR), and coordinating with various teams to support technical decision-making.
The architect will also be responsible for fully instrumenting designs using the Dynatrace toolset as required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience in assessing products, tools, and approaches for systems and application data management.
The ability to clearly define risks and benefits of various approaches is essential.
Broad experience with monitoring applications, systems, and services, as well as knowledge of tools like Dynatrace, ServiceNow, ScienceLogic, and SolarWinds is required.
Familiarity with Splunk for analyzing machine-generated data is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in assessing software products for data management and understanding critical business transactions and key performance indicators.
Extensive experience with application configuration within Dynatrace and analyzing application performance using the tool is required.
The ability to create strategies for monitoring applications and infrastructure is essential.
Experience in requirements analysis, interface design, rapid prototyping, and user-centered design processes is necessary.
Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud deployments is required.
Candidates should have experience in high volume and high availability applications and the ability to document work clearly.
A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent is required, along with 10 years of experience, or 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Candidates must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.

The position offers a remote work environment, allowing flexibility in work location.
Employees will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
