Remote Senior Solidity Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Solidity Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technology to join our dynamic team.
• This position plays a critical role as we continue to innovate and scale our blockchain platform.
• As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts for our new EVM chains.
• Your expertise will drive the next generation of Kadena solutions, accelerating product development and providing transformative tools to our users.
• This position reports directly to our Solutions Manager, offering opportunities for growth and impact within the role and the company.
• You will design, develop, and optimize scalable and secure smart contracts using Solidity.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new solutions.
• You will develop smart contracts with Ethereum-compatible protocols on Kadena's layer 1 blockchain.
• You will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our solutions.
• You will conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor non-solidity developers.
• You will stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into solutions.
• You will write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• You will participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the design of our infrastructure.

Requirements:

• You should have 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Solidity and smart contract development.
• You must have proven experience working with blockchain technologies, decentralized protocols, and consensus algorithms.
• A solid understanding of software development principles, concurrency, and distributed systems is required.
• Experience with functional programming languages and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility is a plus.
• You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

• This role has an annual starting salary range of $150,000 - $190,000, influenced by individual skills and experience.
