The Senior Solution Architect will join a growing sales team to enhance the value offered to prospects and customers.
Responsibilities include defining processes for acquiring mid-sized customers, building a team of successful Solution Architects, and providing technical support for sales opportunities.
The role involves partnering with the Sales Team to communicate Honeycomb's value proposition and managing technical engagement with customers during the trial phase.
The architect will assist prospects with designing solutions, maintain product demos, and advocate for customers to justify their investment.
Additional tasks include supporting field marketing needs and collaborating with Developer Advocacy for hands-on training.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside in North America.
A minimum of 3 years of technical pre-sales or customer-facing experience is required.
Experience working with development and/or operations teams is necessary.
Familiarity with at least three popular programming languages is essential for navigating codebases and adding instrumentation.
Candidates should possess creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple customer challenges simultaneously.
Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, cloud infrastructure platforms, and monitoring solutions is required.
Understanding of Distributed Tracing or APM implementation in at least one application framework is necessary.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are crucial for articulating business benefits and technical advantages.
A strong history of initiative and autonomy is expected.
Bonus points for experience with Docker, Kubernetes, public cloud environments, and sales methodologies like Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.

The base salary for this role ranges from $220,000 to $240,000, depending on experience.
