Remote Senior Solution Architect (remote, freelance) - Indonesia

Description:

• This is a 40hr/week freelance, fully remote role for a Senior Solution Architect focused on the APAC region.
• The role involves being the technical point of contact for customers throughout their entire lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-sales support.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and provide expert technical guidance.
• The Solutions Architect will lead product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase the platform’s value and technical capabilities.
• The position requires providing technical expertise, responding to RFPs and RFIs, and assisting new customers with technical onboarding.
• The role includes conducting architectural reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing escalations for urgent technical problems.
• The Solutions Architect will develop documentation outlining best practices and foster strong customer relationships to maximize the platform’s value.
• The position also involves relaying customer insights and feedback to Product Management and Engineering for continuous product improvement.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.
• A strong background in real-time protocols such as WebSockets, MQTT, and Server-Sent Events, as well as cloud infrastructure, serverless, and distributed systems is necessary.
• Extensive experience providing technical support to enterprise customers and troubleshooting complex issues is essential.
• Candidates should have experience in both pre-sales and post-sales technical roles, ideally in a SaaS or cloud platform environment.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka, APIs, and programming languages such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, C#, Go, Ruby, or Python is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize customer issues based on impact and urgency are necessary.
• A proactive learner and self-starter who is comfortable tackling challenging technical problems in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
