As a Senior Solutions Architect at Apollo, you will help major product teams transition from proof of concept to production with a federated graph.
You will join a talented team focused on designing GraphQL-based distributed architectures and establishing industry best practices.
Your role will involve serving as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for enterprise customers, leveraging your knowledge of APIs and software architecture.
You will inspire impactful transformations by bringing fresh perspectives and creative solutions that accelerate customer adoption of GraphQL and federated graphs.
You will communicate customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of the Apollo Graph Platform.
You will work directly with engineering teams at various companies to consolidate their GraphQL efforts and effectively roll out a federated graph.
You will act as a key technical adviser for Apollo enterprise customers throughout their GraphQL journey, from initial proof of concept to production and expansion.
You will understand customers' goals, technical architecture, and organizational challenges to effectively implement Apollo solutions.
You will devise innovative solutions to support federated graph adoption and identify opportunities to maximize business value for customers.
You will contribute to improvements in documentation, OSS libraries, and GraphOS based on customer feedback and coordinate with internal tech leads.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering or architecture roles, including customer-facing or consultative experience.
A passion for helping teams of all sizes succeed beyond their expectations is essential.
You should value empathy and enjoy engaging with users and customers to solve their problems, establishing yourself as a trusted partner.
A technical background in enterprise data delivery (APIs) and ideally GraphQL is required, with the ability to create code samples and advise other engineers.
A proven track record of delivering timely results is necessary, showcasing your organizational skills and follow-through.
You should possess a creative, “can do” attitude, finding innovative solutions to obstacles and ensuring customer satisfaction.
A passion for mentoring and collaborating with others is important.

The salary range for this position is $158,000 - $186,000 per year, which includes base salary and variable compensation.

This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, working CST or EST hours.
