Description:
As a Senior Solution Architect in H2O.ai Professional Services team, you will work closely with Technical teams on the Customer side and Product Engineering, Enterprise Support, and Sales teams on the H2O side.
You will be the trusted solutions advisor for customers and partners, delivering technical professional services.
Your responsibilities include owning and delivering services such as installation, configuration, and integration of H2O Machine Learning, Model Management, Generative AI, and Cloud products in the customer environment.
You will provide and gather customer feedback to work with the H2O.ai Engineering team to enhance products.
You will translate business cases and requirements into value-based technical solutions through the architecture of machine learning workflows and systems from data ingestion to model deployment.
You will architect, design, and implement end-to-end Predictive and Generative AI Machine Learning and Data Science solutions to help customers realize the value of their investments in H2O.ai products and services.
Effective communication with a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, business people, partners, and executives, is essential.
You will present at meetups and webinars in the Data Science community and be an integral part of the Maker culture of creating the best products and solutions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or higher education degree in Computer Science/Engineering is required.
A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience with cloud computing/Linux systems and architecting end-to-end data processing pipelines or data-intensive enterprise solutions is necessary.
Excellent understanding of system engineering concepts and a good command of working in a Linux-based environment, primarily Ubuntu and CentOS/RHEL, is required.
You must have excellent understanding and implementation experience of the cloud ecosystem, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Knowledge of containers and container-based orchestration frameworks, particularly Kubernetes and Docker, is essential.
A strong understanding of distributed systems/services architecture and enterprise-grade solutions/software is required.
Experience with LDAP, OAuth, OpenID, SSH, TLS, and network connectivity in enterprise-grade service architecture is necessary.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Bash scripting is a must, with additional knowledge of Go, R, Groovy, and Scala being a plus.
Experience with cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) SDKs like CloudFormation/DeploymentManager or Terraform is required.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef is necessary.
Experience in writing REST APIs using microservices frameworks in Python or Java is required.
You should have excellent understanding and experience in building data pipelines and processes in big data environments.
Experience with big data tools like Hadoop and Spark/Kafka for batch and streaming processing is essential.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, as well as knowledge of NoSQL database types, is required.
You should have experience deploying Large Language Models in a containerized environment and knowledge of the Generative AI landscape.
Basic statistical techniques and concepts knowledge is necessary.
Experience in a customer-facing environment providing technical services is required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential, with additional languages being a plus.
A friendly attitude, aptitude for independent problem-solving, and a desire to learn new technologies are important.
