Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join their Customer Experience (CX) team.
The role involves providing specialized business and technical consultation to help customers achieve their objectives using Grafana.
Solutions Architects will act as professional services partners, guiding customers through training, roadmapping, and specialized consulting without a sales quota.
They will manage the lifecycle of customer onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings, ensuring a world-class experience and timely value delivery.
Responsibilities include delivering packaged training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project assurance, and specialized consulting for high-priority customers.
The role requires hands-on engagement with customers, understanding their ecosystems, and ensuring they derive value from Grafana products.
Solutions Architects will monitor support requests, identify recurring issues, and advocate for customer needs with product teams.
The position demands effective communication with various stakeholders, including business executives and IT staff, to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
Staying current on Grafana Labs and related technologies is essential, as is advocating for best practices and standards.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
Direct experience with observability (o11y) and best practices for deploying an o11y stack is required, preferably with Grafana products.
A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, especially enterprise o11y implementations, is essential.
Candidates should be self-starters, eager to learn new skills and technologies, and possess excellent communication skills.
Vision and executive presence are necessary to help elevate the company.
Proficiency in *nix and Windows Server Administration, Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka), and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is required.
Systems architecture design and software engineering experience, including the ability to read code (GoLang/JS/TypeScript), are also necessary.

The base compensation range for this role in Canada is between 165,000 CAD and 200,000 CAD, with actual compensation varying based on experience and skillset.
